All was going fine when the bombs started to fall. The AI/autopilot reacts violently on changing direction too (starts going the other way first)Specs: AMD 64 3000, Radeon 9600 Pro, WinXP Pro, SB5.1, 1.5GB DDR

I didn't know there was an unlimited ammo button. It just started happening of its own accord and couldn't be turned off regardless if I press the weapons button or not. I'm gonna reinstall and see if that helps

Uh... reisntalling wont help anything.

Turn off unlimited ammo in the difficulty options. Or, if you want to keep unlimited ammo, disable autopilot before the bombing waypoint.

unlimited ammo is not checked and I didn't press the buttons to discharge the weapons

All of the above...in the meantime, fly yourself over the enemy carrier.
