AI only brother and it looks like it'll stay that way for the forseeable future. At least you have the B-25, A-20, He111, G4 Betty and don't forget the capable bf-110, IL2 and now the Mossie.

But as far as the heavies go...nuttin but AI.

I CAN HARDLY HEAR YOU! SPEAK UP, SONNY!

Actually, I disagree with T-bolt a little

The Betty is as heavy a Japanese bomber as it gets. To them that was a heavy bomber.

Toddlandon,
if you're an online flyer drop by the Historia server @ 69.50.182.98:21000 we fly b-24's, b-17's, b-29's, and Emilys there all the time.

here is the website: www.gozr.net/iocl (http://www.gozr.net/iocl)

Heavy bombers are "AI only" which means that there is no 3D model for the internal crew positions (including the pilot's position). They can be flown but only in Dogfight mode multiplayer servers and only from external view. Doing so requires using notepad to edit the mission files.

Note that flying "AI only" aircraft in this manner is not a supported feature of the game. The feature only exists at all as a tool for the developers to "test fly" AI only aircraft in the development stage and they've not bothered to remove the function before releasing the game.

I'll second that! Of course, I couldn't have put it as well as THRUD.

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifI think you'll find that Japan considered aircraft like the G4M a bomber, while an aircraft like the H8K was a flying boat that could be used to drop bombs. Apples, oranges
