Günther Izquierdo, 02.09.1925 former pilot of 14./JG300 was died in the age of 78 years on 7-08-2003. We express hereby decorating home of us sympathy and our mourning opposite the family.

We heard about this from the latest version of the JӞGERBLATT 04/2003.

He was a man in love with life, always a smile mischievous face on the lips and to this one. Still he kept himself in the high age physically fitly. I called him always one daddy with gym shoes.

He always has gone of us now.

"Of all my accomplishments I may have achieved during the war, I am proudest of the fact that I never lost a wingman. It was my view that no kill was worth the life of a wingman. . . . Pilots in my unit who lost wingmen on this basis were prohibited from leading a [section]. They were made to fly as wingman, instead."
Erich 'Bubi' Hartmann "Karaya One"

It's always a shame to see someone go. they've done so much for their side and some go unreckognized.
