View Full Version : No long range BdU messages since 1.2? Is this a bug?

Since installing patch 1.2 I've done 3 patrols, but I haven't had a single convoy contact since - no long range contact radio messages at all. Is it just me, or did patch 1.2 screw up the "Important Radio Contacts" feature?

Seems like they may have cut out the "Important Radio Contacts" (which is an essential feature) rather than the "Opportunity Radio Contacts" (which is unrealistic and unnecessary).

I upgraded to 1.2 and still get radio messages including warship ones...one message lead me to a convoy where I sunk a passenger liner.

I still get them after the patch. My last patrol, I got about 4 notices of convoys during my patrol on the north western part of England.

I haven't seen one since, but I wasn't in an area near convoy travel lanes either. I'll let you know tonight, since my next patrol I've been ordered to AL33. I should have some Atlantic convoy action.

I've noticed a larger variety of radio messages. Sometimes they tell me about friendly warships in the area...maybe if I want to go help them out (or so I don't accidentally sink them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ).

Definitely still have contact messages.
