View Full Version : Great Rolling Decks! Where's the LSO?

I think the rolling decks in the Pacific Expansion look great.

But, in order to land, won't this really require a LSO. When the deck drops below your nose, you have very limited visual clues, won't you?

I hope they build that in. Looks great, can't wait.

I don't know if you've looked but there is a Pacific Fighters forum, and a quick search in that forum under "LSO" will turn up a lengthy discussion about LSOs and how they can and can't or even will or won't be implemented in PF

I've got an idea! When you approach the carrier, the little pixie LSO jumps out from behind the gunsight and into a little box hung from the top of the canopy. He stands in his box and waves at you, with a subtitle underneath so you don't need to learn semaphore.

Oh wait, its not my idea, it's Microsofts.
