I know it is kind of silly but it is one of my favorite websites because of its WW2 content of course. But it is more that that. I like the personal nature of the few pages and the kind of informal images that are on this site. The kind of daily life pictures of guys washing their hair in their helmets and things like that. I also like the D model Stuka (night harrasment bomber version) on this page. There are some great images of the P47 pilots in Thunderbolt doing everyday housekeeping duties that are nice.

I also like the art of the son. To show that the stuka pilots son has contributed something beautiful for the world. It is a good thing that the Father lived through the war.

Anyway there are three pages that should interest you. The pilots wartime pages, his training page... and postwar page. Hope you like the minor find.
