Trimming requires multiple key presses to see any result. There is also a delay before any result is seen. Do a forum search for more datiled answers than this.

Well you can eliminate your keyboard by testing it in notepad or something...

You PC works OK I take it... I guess it isn't that then.

TEST

Map your elevator pitch keys to whatever you want (I use up and down arrows) select the FW-190D9 in the Quick mission builder and set altitude to about 1000 metres.

Hit fly and hold your finger on the up arrow (or whatever key you use) if I do this my plane will very quickly nose-down and will be very difficult to keep flying level.

Try it out and come back. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Some planes have no trim.
But the more modern ones do. Elevator-trim is the most used. with this u trim the plane to fly level in all speeds, with no stick input, so this one is the most important.

Some planes have rudder and ailerontrim too and yet others like the 109 have only pilot adjustable elevatortrim, and grouncrew adjustable aileron and rudder trim, set to cruising speed.

--------------------------------------------------

Take a p40 or p51 or 109. If trimming doesnt work on any plane u probably havnt assigned keys for it in settings.
They are labeled something like this:
"Elevatortrim positive" and "Elevatortrim negative"
If i remeber correctly.
If not that....check so u havent "Capslock" enabled (not sure if this should effect anything).

Start with checking this and report back http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
