Great post triggerhappyfin. Those guys must be having the time of their lives making that pit. Just think what it'll be like for them when they fire it up with a good sim and re-enact the BoB in their spare room LOL. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

Hello chaps,
this is my first post here at the forum. My name is Dave Scott, and i am one half of the spitfire project, the other half of the project is Craig "Bricklayer" Rochester. Craig is doing the hard part of the project, sorting out the force feedback and interface system to bring the cockpit to life.
Thanks to Old_Canuck, Leadspitter and Triggerhappyfin for the suggestion to register here, and for the kind coments regarding the project.

And the nice thing is, since the AEP patch, we can now interface FB with external instruments.
So a project such as this could work with FB too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Impressive workmanship and skills funhouse http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Although it must be said your greatest skill was in choosing your life partner!

Thankyou for the welcome guys.Just a little background information on the project. The biggest cost of the project is time,i have around 280 hours for the parts made so far and almost the same for searching for information. The material costs are not that much actually, around 75 GBP so far.Gauges for the cockpit being the greatest expense on the project.
Cheers,
Dave
