another warriors den goes by and still no mentioning for how to improve aramusha. sure hearing that servers are coming along is good but game balance is still off.
especailly when you compare the 2 newest characters side by side.

its about 4 weeks that the aramusha has been released and even before that the early play streamers/youtubers already mentioned a crap ton of things that have to be done in order for aramusha to be a viable choice. and still no word when or what will be done.

its probably save to expect no changes in the upcoming patch given that aramusha has never been mentioned since his introduction.

While we haven't yet mentioned any changes coming to Aramusha, that doesn't inherently mean that changes aren't being investigated. Players have been very vocal with their concerns regarding the Aramusha and we greatly appreciate players for giving us their feedback. All of it is being passed over to the team to read over and consider for the future. As soon as we concrete balance changes to announce, we'll make sure those notes are announced and posted up for players to read over and discuss.

One of the problems is that there are as many people (I'm not one of them just for the record) screaming that aramusha needs to be nerfed as there are suggesting he needs to be buffed. There was a general consensus that shaman needed changes pretty quick and they got to it but with conflicting views they need to be a touch more careful.

yes i absolutly agree that shaman is a big problem right now and needs further balancing.

but the absolute lack of any mentionings for aramusha leaves me very concerned.

speaking of wich the only ones saying aramusha is op are the ones that havent figured out his light chain is predetermined. he actually has just 1 way of attacking that makes him susceptible to parries.

and thats exactly the point the devs themselves already said they did give the og characters to few options and following a chain is too risky but then they go ahead and release this dlc character with exactly that: a single attack chain and no further moves whatsoever.

The one real legit issue with Aramusha is his Rocksteady feat; pretty much most other complaints are either cry for nerfs or cry for buffs in general. But his Rocksteady needs some looking at. It goes against the game's core rules and mechanics. Shaman on the other hand urgently needed a revisit to readjust broken damage numbers and broken tracking.

Let's first let the devs rework the OG roster. Imo, that's still more important than revisiting Aramusha right now. But fret not, pretty much the whole roster is gonna get looked at; including DLC heroes.
