Requiem was good but, the best video taken is that by a squad member. He took a track from one of our closed dogfights and made a movie out of it. We where harrasing an enemy airfield with about 10 P-47's /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif .

I was using my new skin special for that occasion and it looked very cool on the track/movie /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Wow, kind of ironic since I just watched just about every movie I could get my hands on. I really think this an interesting question, cause from what I saw there is enough variety of movie types for best of type. Best overall is a bit on an injustice cause not all movies are in the same genre.

For instance that Ode to JB movie is just plain simple fun! Nothing serious involved just good James Bond humor. "Yes Moneypenny. I'm to eliminate all free radicals" hah hah! Shaken not stired, you know the routine.

Now comparing that to say The White Rose of Stalingrad or The Red Tailed Angels, just does not seem fair because these movies were serious and about "real" people.

The best movies I've seen were made about real people like the ones about that lady soviet pilot and those superstar African American dudes and that great Forgotten Heroes movie by that guy NTESLA. Those movies just have a more real feel to them vs other Great movies that were not about real people.

I did find some great movies by some German and French guys too. Overall the quality of the movies here is really great and I really like some of the nice people that I have met here. Later dudes.

I second requiem. That movie brings a tear to my eye. I was at a wedding and they started singing Ave Maria in the church and it reminded me of the movie, of all the death and despair...

I'd say, Requiem. No other il-2/fb movie has the emotional impact of that vid. I watch it once in a while to feel the pain again. The other films are more about, what can you do in the FB game. Requiem asks, what happened to my friends, and is it my turn to die?

I'd say, also, that "Requiem" still holds the Championship Trophy...but as others have said, there is lots of variety and many good ones which excel in different ways/themes/techniques.

Btw, "Requiem" is readily available for new viewers at my site, in 8Mb and in 25Mb versions.

Sure Mr. UCLANUPE works with the french guys and they have lots of videos hosted on their site. You can ask him I think he will give you information. I'm a newbie and he even gave me some web space for my Top Movie Picks. He's been really nice to me and my dad. See you later dude.
