225mph indicated is the minimum safe speed for a loop in the Jug. So, if your keeping your speed at least at that level, you shouldn't stall in a normal climb (which, BTW a Vy climb in the Jug is done at 165-170mph)

Is there more you should be telling us?

I just flew an offline campaign mission in the D-10 a minute ago. You may be trying to sustain too much of a climb in this bird. The best climb speed for the jug is around 260Kph to 280Kph indicated. It has a helluva zoom climb if you are pulling up from a dive or a very fast level speed. But of course the initial zoom from level would not last long. You would have to reduce the zoom by lowering your nose quickly in that case. But truly never try and sustain a climb in any model of the jug at any speed less than 230Kph. Anything less than that will get stally pretty quick. I never let the Jug get below 400Kph at all unless I'm taking off, landing or climbing. Or of course flying formation with AI to target and back.

Go to my squads site and go to the links section. In there we have links to ACM(Air combat manuevers), and Jug specific data and references. 361st vFG home page (http://www.361stvfg.com)

You have selected the wrong loadout.
To correct the stalling issue, hit Esc and navigate back to the briefing window and then click the armament button. From the dropdown window on your right, select Yak9.
Your 'Jug' will now be unstallable, faster and more manoeverable, no matter how you jerk your stick.

To keep from stalling in the Jug..keep your speed high (350-450kph) and be gentle with her. No quick turns or moves. You have to guide the Jug into position not yank her around. Any quick movement will put it into a spin.

also check your joy profile in conf.ini. The stock numbers prevented me to fly anything save good old IL-2... (MS Sidewinder 2 here)

She's a big girl so you have to handle her gently but effectively. Stay high, and keep your eyes peeled back so you don't get jumped if you don't have a wingman...Pick your target carefully, adjust for dive and make your pass count. I'm still working on my deflection shooting which is a must when flyin this bird, and am getting better by the day http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif See you up high!

good luck
Salute!
