Under projects you will find the panorama files for all cockpits of different variants of Ju 88 A which we have been working with. You will find that there are 5 different models:

A-4 Early: Standard early war 88 with divebombing ability and divebrakes.

A-4 Late: late war 88 with divebombing ability without divebrakes and better view.

A-13: Ground attack variant designed for East Front. Armament includes SD butterfly bombs (up to 720pcs carried) and machinegun pods (up to 36 mgs in pods) on top of the normal machineguns and 20mm MG/FF in the nose.

A-14: A-4 late with standardised MG/FF installation in the nose.

A-17: Torpedo bomber without ventral gondola.

We have already moved to the final cockpits we will make. These will be C-6 and C-6 field mod. Field mod will introduce relatively common major modifiction made to Ju 88's on the field: deletion of the gondola in exchange for increased top speed. In the East Front C-6 served mainly as a long range intruder against russian supply routes and trains, but also in it's more familiar nighfighter role.

After it is done, I'm done. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It would be nice, but there are many factors involved insuch decisions.

Oleg and Ubi will decide it, I will say nothing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on this project, and even though you all are lovely people, I will have a life of my own to live from now on. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It has been fun, no question about it, but this is where my personal limit goes. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I am expecting Ju~88 to among the most popular of aircraft over the FB. Ju~88 may generate more interest in bombers overall hopefully. Thanks.

looks great jippo, i like hammereds skin for it alot too, 2 questions for you. The landing wheels, does the ju88 still have those dredded cfs1 looking rims in olegs hidden parts section encrypted in the game.I wish he would make an available bmp of all those hidden parts 190 p47 109 ju52 ju88 and many other wheels and engine pieces.

2nd is there anyway oleg can make the rear gunners pause for 30 seconds to change drums, with the bf110 you can fire the entire ammount of clips that are on the back wall in a constant stream without reloading. Will the ju88 be the same way? I never seen anyone discuss it, you know them luftwhiners cry about everything for thier favorite plane. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif but keep quiet if its good for them

I have no absolute information of external model, but I upgraded it a bit and expect it to have the new Maddox Games in house cruising wheels (hopefully with white sides too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ).

Mg's in 88 are belt fed and had no possibility to change barrels inflight, and that is the way they will work. Single belt which is possible to shoot dry with one loong press of trigger.

I thank you with all i can for such an astonishingly good project http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. Looking at the screenshots (and noting how complicated that cockpit looks) i'm going to have hours of fun just excploring it let alone fly and operating the 88, and its armaments http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

yeah... that's understandable - BUT - I bet you...

You are now enchanted by what ya made - if not - you will be when you fly it the first time http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And you will want more (I hope) seems a waste of all the talent and what you learned to give it up now... Try something in the background I would... (just hoping http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

I was enchanted when I saw Ju-87 cockpit in game for the first time, and I know I will be again with 88.

The fact just is that now work consumes so much of my energy that I don't want to spend it by sitting in a dark room modelling. I want to go out and smell the flowers, and spend time with my family more. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

"The best fighters I met in combat were the American P-51 Mustang and Russian Yak-9U. Both of those types obviously exceeded all Bf109 variants in performance, including the 'K'. The Mustang was unmatched in altitude performance, while the Yak-9U was champion in rate of climb and maneuverability."

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Thanks,

All models have been accepted by Maddox Games, so I think we will get all the variants in the end.

A-4 models wil have the same Lotfe sight as He-111, but also the same sight as Ju 87 D-5 for divebombing.
