View Full Version : No matchmaking unless I use a VPN

Hello everyone, hope you're having a fantastic day/night :).

I've been having this weird problem for like 3 weeks now, where I keep getting kicked while matchmaking, with the error code (0x0000B005), as you can see in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrJ9JbNKJpw).

Just recently I found that if I used a VPN, everything works as it should, but the questions is why? I mean I understand I live in the Middle East, and VOIP services are blocked here, and that's why I would want to use a VPN, but why for matchmaking too?

Using a VPN solves the problem, but it increases the ping significantly, as I already have a ping around 100 (No near data centers to the Middle East), but when I use the VPN, I hover around 200-250, which results in the game becoming unplayable.

Would you please help me fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I have, and nothing worked for me. Still the only way to play is to use a VPN, and I have seen it reported by another player.

Hey dude,

I had the same issue for a while - I was in Thailand and they are pretty damn quick to block a lot of stuff even gaming (country has a serious gambling problem)

I used NORD VPN for a while but it was slow AF an really laggy, Switch over to Express VPN - here's some info - https://privacyaustralia.net/expressvpn-review/
