OK, since everybody are talking "Pacific this, Pacific that", we've decided to prepare our 9/39 planes to carrier-based operations!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The first bird to modernize is RWD-8 made by Kaa. We now prefer to call it with full name: "type 94 RWD-8-Kai Sentoki" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Step 1: folding wings, so that they fit on the elevator http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

step 2 is next - landing hook http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

RWD-14 Czapla is going to get the same treatment...

no need for that - RWD-8 could fly as slow as 75 kph which is about 47 mph or 42 knots. consider the carrier doing about 30 knots and you've got only 10 knots differrence between the plane and the ship so it would be quite easy to land... even without the arrestor hook (i've tried it with a Fieseler Storch back in times of CFS2).

Why Ki-46 but no Ki-45 Toryu? And why does it have the home defence colours? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif...

The comment about the home defense colors is very true. I'd really like to see a careful look at the default paint schemes to make them as universal as possible.

Given the fact that there are 2 allowed default skins per plane (winter/summer) we could even have early/late war default schemes based upon the map (Japan map would be "late" and would get home defense defaults, but a SWPA Ki-46 would get a more generic scheme with normal Hinomaru, not the ones with the white band.

On topic, another woot for the cool plane!

Skibicki, are you planning on trying to include that with one of the PF patches?

Joberrick, THAT is a Polish liaison aircraft they're doing for BoB. This post is a joke.
