EDIT: UPDATE - solved by reflashing the GPU BIOS!

(Memory Clock did not overclock itself depending on load) :)

Now its smooth again!

Old post:

Hey guys,

I'm running AC:Origins on a "fairly" well equipped system (i7-7700K, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1070 ARMOR OC 8GB) with kind of no background tasks.

CPU does not seem to be a problem (about 40% load I think) but GPU is.

On "optimized" geforce experience-settings of nvidia's newest driver 388.13 - I only get about 15 fps, so a massive stutter (not playable/enjoyable)! If I turn all graphic settings on lowest option I get about 30 fps. I'm struggeling to believe that's the best my GPU is capable of - the game itself runs on Full-HD only (1920x1080) on latest Windows 10 updated system. All the benches around the web say I should get about 60fps at least on high quality...

Does anyone have a clue to get it running smoothly (hopefully with better quality settings...)
