Starshoy has done a spot on job improving VEF2. Just want those that fly other quickplay option campaigns to see that there is an alternative (or additional) campaign to give a try. For slower play, prescheduled, high emmersion campaign; register for Iron Skies. Info in that link above as well.

Nice to see VEF2 back on its feet.

Have StG77 registered, but personally haven´t been able to fly any missions because of my vacation /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

When a German Infantry unit's advance is halted...who do they call?? The Fighter jocks? Get real!!...They call the STUKA Pilots !!! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I think that Iron Skies and VEF2 fit nicely together time consumption wise. I cant fly in it personally or help it administratively ; but the improvements deserve others who do have the time a once over.

Of particular note; read that link above. The principles of war involved are detailed; which is always a good thing as Iron Skies personifies.

Thats another thing I like about VEF2. The ability to fly any kind of mission you want, whether supporting ground troops, fighter sweep, recon, escort, intercept, etc.

It´s a real nice addition to people that like to fly bombers ALL the time...no fighter shmighters
