It is a Miles M-39B. A twin-engined tandem-wing monoplane which was built as a flying scale model for a high-speed bomber design.
Powered by two 130hp D.H. Gipsy-Major engines.

If you like the looks of that plane then you should check out The Worlds Strangest Aircraft by Michael Taylor.

I know its on shelf at Barnes& Noble right now for under 10 bucks.

When you see some of the designs they tried in real life Crimson Skies doesn't look quite as silly anymore.

Miles aircraft was the home to some very interesting designs. They also made a flying scale model for a tandem-wing pusher-engined fighter the M-35. It was intended for carrier use, with the pilot in the nose he would have excellent visability on landing and the tandem wings would not need a folding mechanism.

I like your sig pic One13. We had a Vampire flying around for all of last weekend- I think there was something going on at Biggin Hill.
