Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I'd say ATI manufactured 9600...I love the colours on my new cheapo ATI~9200. If you like the Deep colours of FX 5200, stay with Nvida.

No wait, ugrading your Video Card will contribute to Global Warming. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif We cannot allow you to upgrade. Sorry. hehe which runs hotter Nvida or ATI? I dunno.

Yep, either 9600 or 5700 are worth it. Right now they are the best mid-range cards out there. Then, it all depends wich one you like better Nvidia or ATI. They're (9600&5700) very close in performance. Just remember that ATI gets along very well with DirectX, and Nvidia performs better on OpenGL. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I dunno. My 9200 is ~25 percent faster under OgenGL with identical FB options. I think. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Is it easy to get new drivers for ATI drivers? I mean, is it just to enter ATI's website, press download and so on?
