Simple question, what kind of alim is needed with these new graphic cards?

400, 450, 500 watts?

Cheers,

Power supplies are more critical components than people give credit for. A cheap one can cause system instability no matter how high the wattage. Just remember: Quality over quantity. You're better off getting a lower wattage power supply than a 500 watt cheap one. With that said, a good 400-450 watt power supply is pretty future proof.

yep, watt ain't everything. It's just importand that it can give full power/load the whole time when needed. I only got a 250watt with a 9700np soon to replaced with a 6800GT which can run this card aswell.

Get Antec or another suitably good PSU. I've got a 330W Antec that does the trick nicely. Its got very good quality design according to the review sites and it shows...my system is very stable.
