Perhaps Pacific map development could be made easier for Oleg and 1C for the upcoming expansion pack.

At present there are mainly german, russian, and some USA objects. But no Japanese objects e.g. trucks, buildings, tanks, ships or USA ships. Pacific theater realism would increased with pacific type building structures, dirt mounds for fighters and bombers to park in (e.g like in CFS2), marsden matting, dirt airstrips (long ones for bombers)and (shorter ones for fighters.

If these items could be created as objects (and tuned to reduce lag) then perhaps only the scenery maps need to be created (without the bases e.g. South West Pacific, Paupa New Guinea. Micronesia Islands/Solomons, Australia etc.

Then cusotmers could build airbases to historical level of detail (if they wished) at their own leisure using these objects on Pacific scenery maps.

Might also make the building of online Pacific scenery maps by for expansion pack easier as Oleg/Maddox Games/1C would not have to program in the bases/objects on pacific scenery maps etc.

Thus, more time could be dedicated to the accuracy of the scenery in terms of geographic location, terrain, distances etc. This being one of the features of micrsoft flight simulators- excluding CFS3) - but FB being far in advance of MS in terms of look and feel of planes, scenery realism, game play etc.

I totally agree (now THERE's a surprise http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif).

Thank you, Oleg, for allowing players to have direct contact with the developers!

These guys are on the right track, I love the game but lvoe the conflict in the Pacific. THe prior suggetions could expand the popularity enormously becaus ethere are a vast number of Pacific War enthusiast in the US Australia and Japan.
