View Full Version : Multiple Game-Breaking Issues like freezes, crashes on all presets

First of all, I got the sound problem with a Logitech Headset, the G930 aswell. Dialoges are cut off and I cant even hear them mostly. I am currently fixing it by reconnecting the device over and over again until it somehow works but that shouldnt be a thing at all.

Second we have the most Game-Breaking bug I experience: After I loaded up the game i can move properly and everything is fine but suddenly, just at a random time when I run around everything freezes but sometimes I can still move around my mouse and with that look around and use everything which has to do with the overlay. When I'm going towards smaller place the freeze is somewhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, if the place is bigger it takes around 5-10 minutes for it to continue. It would be 'okay' for me if it would only happen once but it happens all the time.. cant even play 5 minutes without having to wait again. Sometimes also i cant move anything when it freezes, the complete game freezes and the game crashes. I noticed that when i was going towards the certain area where i get the freeze (The areas are random and can happen literally everywhere and dont happen only once at a new place), every texture of walls for example wasnt loaded properly. Every texture was unloaded or not loaded up correctly. After the freeze it looks like normal again. I tried everything, every preset and i literally took hours already for trying to fix it but nope.. dont know what to do anymore. By the way, after the freeze i am around my normal 60 FPS again and I experience no FPS drops at all.. just this freeze.

Then again i have another pretty annoying bug which i couldnt fix. If i tab out of the game and back into it again, my Cursor is gone most of the times. Even if I dont tab out and in the cursor just dissappears sometimes. Very annoying since you cant mark anything on the map properly or use the inventory and so on and so on...

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Hello Assassin! We're sorry to hear you've been having a frustrating experience up to this point. We did have another member of the community share a workaround (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1774772-I-found-a-hotfix-for-the-sound-issue-for-Logitech-users-with-Voicemeeter) for the Logitech headset issue that you may be interested in while our team continues to investigate this further. Hopefully that will help you bypass the first issue you've experienced. If you're able to play the game but are experiencing the freezes in game you mentioned, you may want to just double check that your system meets the requirements (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000031268/System-Requirements-of-Assassin-s-Creed-Origins/) and if there is something that does not align properly, do your best to update this area of your system to help improve the performance however possible. From here, please perform some basic troubleshooting (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000025513/General-PC-Troubleshooting) to see if minimizing the number of things that require your system's attention at once helps to cut back on the frequency of these freezes for you. If you've done this and are still not having the best results, you can try to make some changes to your graphics settings (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000031701/Performance-Issues-in-Assassin-s-Creed-Origins-ACO/). If you've exhausted all of the options presented here and would like some further assistance with this, please don't hesitate to let our technical support team (https://support.ubi.com/Cases/New) know about what you've already tried and share your system files (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000023904/How-To-Submit-Dxdiag-MSinfo/) with us and we'd be happy to keep assisting you with this.
