View Full Version : Have no sound at all on PC

I get zero sound - no sound on the logo screens, no sound on the menu, no sound in the game.

I am on a PC, and I made sure that the sound is still running for the game in the Sound Mixer.

I verified the files on Steam, no issues were found. Still no sound after that.

I've tried Speakers and Headphones. No difference.

I found a thread somewhere saying that downgrading your audio to non-surround sound could help - I attempted this and no change in the behavior.

I tried launching from uPlay instead of Steam, and no change in the behavior.

I can supply dxdiag data. I did find this in the results under the Windows Error Reporting section:

I am having the same issue and would love to be able to hear the characters and sounds!

If you are able to hear some sounds but not all, you can try the steps from this Stick of Truth sound FAQ (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Faqs/000018813/PC-Cannot-Hear-Cut-Scene-Voices-and-Other-Sound-Problems). If you are unable to hear any sounds at all in FBW, I'd recommend reaching out to our technical team so they can look into the matter.
