If anyone uses the edimentsional 3d glasses with IL2 Ace expansion pack. I need help with setting them up. I don't know if they are compatible with Aces and the company says they have not tested them with 2.0. your help would be greatly appreciated. mschultz2@tampabay.rr.com

If these are 3D shutter glasses they probably are not compatible with your video card.

I tried Elza shutter glasses - never got them to work. I have seen them work (on an Elza card) the 3d effect is stunning http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif (but you got to be in a dark room for best results).

You will need the 3d drivers too.

My computer is amd 2700 with Gforce 4 5600 256mb a higher end card. It runs all games in 3d. But it just freezes in IL2 ACE.

Weird - I did see FB V1.22 play in 3d... so the game CAN handle it...

It will depend on your drivers too.

I assume you are using the latest stereo drivers and matching GPU drivers from nVidia?

I take it that you did'nt have them working before, I used to have them with my Ti4200 and 1.21 no problem.

When I went to 1.22 the right hand image went screwy, just showed the landscape, whilst the left hand image showed the aircraft.

There is a setting you need to disable in IL2 Setup too, IIRC it's Vertex arrays but could be stencil buffer...

I'll dig up what info I can tonight and post back tomorrow for you.

They do not work with an ATI 9800XT BTW. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Us ATI owners are certainly left in the cold with regards to 3d. I bought the Edimensional glasses and the only games I could get them working decently on were Vice City and Raven Shield. More of a gimmick then anything. The TrackIR on the other hand... Wow.
