What in the hell makes this thing worth $200? I mean that construction-wise. You'd think it's made of gold or something!

let's hope FB gets a 4 engine bomber to fly and then....nope.

But I would like a virtual reality helmet for complete immersion.

LMAO!

Get IL-2 Sturmovik for only $10.00 with any CH USB product order !!!

You can get most stores to give it to you for pocket lint. I have seen it for $5 in many bargain bins.

Too bad AEP only supports 1 throttle axis at a time.

Preordered it also! A perfect companion for CH yoke. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The biggest flaw in design of the CH yoke is the throttle, mix, and RPM lever placement. . . where you cant reach it behind the right horn of the yoke, so I certainly might give this a thought.

Don't think I get one. But this seems tempting:

You'll probably be able to get it from a retailer for $160 or less--CH don't undercut their retailers. I paid considerably (at least 30%)less than the CH quoted price for all my CH Products gear without having to go to the internet or a mailorder house.

Even so, the quality and reliability of their products makes it a pretty good value at their asking price, if you factor in the hours of use you get out of them. I've been using mine hard for a couple of years now (probably a couple of hours a day), without a hint of deterioration in performance. I figure the cost per hour of use is much lower than any other stick I've owned. How many Logitech (or Thrustmaster) owners can say that?

cheers

Good Hotas set up costs money but in the long run it is well worth it.
Ask around what some people paid for there modded Cougers ($700 or more) and 200 seems like a steal http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
IL2 does not support a throttle like that though, this would be more for Microsoft flight sim 2004.
