As the rest of the squadron celebrated pilot officer Jenkins ninth kill, lieutenant Smith began to get the uneasy feeling that he and the rest of the squadron, had been taken in by a particularly clever conscription fraud.

While we all know that dogs do enjoy sticking their heads out the window, please do not allow them to attempt it @ 400km/hr. As poor spot discovers; permanent lock-jaw may result.

obviously it seems your p*ssed about the lack of any variety of posting in these forums, as can be seen from your sig - so your above post seems to be largely hypocritical.

Bit late is seeing this one, but here goes:

"Today, critics think the final few scenes of the 1943 film 'Lassie Saves The Day' destroy any credibility it may have had".

-------------------------------------

Swarms of Mosquitoes flew into Reich territory on an average of more than ten nights a month. Beginning with October [1944] these swarms grew into larger formations of 60-80 aircraft, against which the Luftwaffe could do hardly anything. In July three of these 'wonder-birds' were destroyed by He 219s.of which only one was near its operational ceiling.as a result, and also because of high losses.the Uhu Mosquito hunt was discontinued. From that time onwards the He 219s themselves became victims of British long-range night fighters.

"After defecting to the RAF Pilot Officer Fritz Rover has been among the top echelon of "Dogfighters" in her majestys service, one can note the huge fan fare and celebration as Officer Rover returns from yet another succesful sortie in which he shot down another of his ex-compatriots"

I dunno, but I thought that was funny.
