A question for whoever would like to comment:

Is there any time while playing in a Dynamic Campaign when being "Wounded" or "Heavily Wounded" doesn't automatically result in missing the rest of the "campaign" your pilot is currently flying in? Every time I have been injured, I'm always out until the end of the campaign, whether its two weeks or 9 months away (if flying the Leningrad campaigns), historically.

On the other hand, it seems that when the AI pilots are injured, they often return in a matter of days. Do I just have bad luck with injuries? If it is the case that injuries autmoatically take out a player for the rest of the campaign, it would be nice (for those of us who really get into our campaigns and don't want to just refly the mission) to have the time out of action to be a bit more random.

On a related note, how often did minor injuries take pilots out of service for short periods of time?

When my pilots wounded its usually for the duration as you stated but I recall 2 separate times it was just one day.
I have no idea how the game decides the extent of your injuries though.

Maybe the DM rolls a 20 sides dice. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Well, either A. Player wounds are overmodelled.

Or B. it could be when you get hit with an explosive round right in the abdomen, it's gonna take a little time to heal.
