Hello ! I was wondering , can you maybe predict ac origins system requirements ?? My pc is
gtx 1050 ti OC
i5 7500
8 gb ram
playing with 1600x900 monitor
Do you think i ll be able to handle the game? I can run Unity ultra (FXAA) with 45+ fps and Syndicate ultra (FXAA) with 50+ fps

Also , feel free to add me on uplay : PalkyP , for co op Unity!

Mods should make these "can I run it?" threads into a sticky...

These things are usually nailed down 2-4 weeks before launch, aren't they?

Hi PalkyP

Nobody knows yet but as Sofajockey said, specs are usually revealed closer to the launch date (in the last 4 weeks).

All we have to go on, is Origins uses the same enginge as Unity, Syndicate, ghost recon Wildlands etc... and although it is no guarantee, we think it will have similar performance to those... it might be more demanding or less demanding (I always expect it to be more but Syndicate was less than Unity)

Your System is good, the 1050 ti has got some really good performance figures on youtube videos. So I would expect you to be able to play it at 1600 x 900 using ultra and get a reasonable fps

But if you have access to a monitor with higher resolution (1920 x 1080) You would really appreciate the game more, especially if you lowered some of the graphic settings. Ultra is very demanding and often just makes the games look too dark.... lowering some of the settings to high or very high will give good performance increases and not make a huge difference to the image.

I read your previous posts about this point in another threat. I understand you well. I'm same conditions like you. Don't worry and buy your laptop. I've bought a desktop with combination 1050 ti, ryzen 5 1500x and 8 gb ram.
1080p I saw 30 fps average GRW between high-ultra, 30 fps average AC:Syndicate and Witcher 3 near ultra without any problem.

Official specs are out 2-3 weeks before launch normally, early October would be my guess, that being said the requirements should be similar to AC Syndicate , since we are running on same engine with maybe more optimizations

Well then you must have done quite a lot of reading forums,
I am going to buy my laptop in december or january, and well I can manage to add 230-240 dollars in my budget for laptop, that depends on origins requirement, if it demanded more, I ll buy with the added 230 - 250 dollar budget, and if not then I ll go for my usual budget.
Lets see how the dice will role

laptop wise anything that is a 1050 ti and above should work perfectly fine, Get an i7 laptop over an i5 laptop. Anvil engine is CPU intensive to an extent

Nice ... but it is $1100 or more on amazon... that's a lot of money but we get what we pay for and it is worth it.

But with the addition of every new game, the game requirements go up, and its my experience that AC series tests the best of graphics cards available at their game release, so I am optimistic as well as afraid that may be 1050 ti wont support the game because there is another increment in the graphics requirement.

I think you will be ok naumaan.... I always focus on the graphics card when I look at buying a new system but your laptop has to do a lot more than just playing games so the GPU might not be the main priority but even so... the 1050 is quite good, check out these 2 videos, especially the end of the first one :)

That doesn't necessarily prove anything, it all depends on how well each individual game is optimized. For example I've heard of The Witcher 3 running pretty well even on cheaper systems whereas AC Unity and Syndicate lag a lot even on many high-end systems.

In Origins' case though, the PC version isn't a port this time, so hopefully they've taken many different systems into consideration.

I'm sure i'll 'mostly' be ok for Origins, I can't imagine a I7 6700K struggling, my XFX 7950 might choke though :P but hopefully, I'll be able to at least start the game :P plus 32 GB of ram to fall back on

@naumaan (for some reason I can't reply directly to you…) I have the ROG GL553VD and it's a great laptop, especially given the price. But here's the "BUT"... I can't play AC:O on it. So disappointed.
I'm not sure if it's just me with a 'special' issue, and I had no issues up to now. It ran Witcher 3 just fine. Whenever I try to boot AC:O it tells me my video card is unsupported. I'm guessing that's coming from Ubisoft, but the graphics card in this (nvidia geforce gtx 1050) should be fine at least with MINIMUM requirements of AC:O. Trying to update the driver just ends up with BSOD and driver check bypasses haven’t worked for me
