Firstly I want to say hi to everyone. Im not particularly savvy with planes but I am slowly learning. Never "really" have flown a plane in real life or simulation.

As i recently bought the game I really enjoy playing it. I understand the physics principles behind an aeroplane and other factors involved. I play with the "Normal" setting for the time being.

I started a Pilot Career now, with USSR (although I am Italian lol). I have done all the training and can land the plane even if the fuel tank leaks or if my rudder is screwed. I cant land it if my wings have been shot off. Anyway I managed to do about 8 missions and got a Red Banner award. I shot about 5 planes down overall (which is ok I guess) and about 1 armored veheicle.

1) If you dont successfully complete mission does it show at the end?
2) How do points work?
3) When do I get another award? Is it every 5 objects destroyed?

Thanks for your help...I have version 1.02b

Welcome to the forums, Cadet_Flagello!

Unfortunatley I don't have the answers to your questions, but I hate to see your thread ignored.

By the way, I've found the planes go into self-'landing'-mode when the wings are shot off. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Maybe with more practice, that'll come...

Hi and welcome,

You usually get an award after shooting down several aircraft during the same mission. Normally, more than 2 or 3 will render some kind of decoration. However, I've never learned the logic behind it.

Don't worry about not being able to land with your wings shot off. I guess it's fair to state that no one in this community can do that!
