I'm looking for a good joystick in the $40-60 range. I want something with good yaw control, and plenty of buttons. I am certain that someone will give me some advice on this.

Thanks,
Dave

I am using a microsoft sidewinder precision 2 joystick. I personally think it is an excellent controller but I am not a flight sim veteran either but it serves the purpose. Excellent yaw and pitch control, 4 weapons buttons on top, a hotas control, 4 other mappable buttons on base of stick and a throttle control lever. Works for me. Dont remember price but definitely below $50 i think.

Saitek Cyborg force feedback - optical sensors.
Logitech freedom 2.4- maybe.(wireless)
Microsoft sidewinder Force feedback 2.

Further to my last repsonse in that post (regarding the Thrustmaster Fox 2 Pro USB), so far so good with this stick. It was $50 CDN ($38 US). Only used it for a few hours so far but it works smooth like butta! Only thing I would like better is if the throttle was a little smoother. It is good but not quite as smooth as the one on the Wingman 3D Extreme (too bad the extreme is known for falling apart early in it's life and the 2 I had were defective out of the box). They have a Force Feed Back version of it as well if that's your cup of tea.

Charles.
