ive noticed that sound has same speed as light in this sim, it would be really cool if the speed of sound is made like it should be.
it makes the immersion feeling much better.

If you do a fly by you will notice some Doppler. I agree; the sound in FB dose need work and the forthcoming patch promises to improve the sound.

Yes, sound delay would be awesome. Even OFP (am FPS from a coupole years ago) has this effect. I doubt we will see this in IL-2 though.

yes, i like that effect in ofp. its definitely a nice detail in games and i don't see it implemented often.

Yes OFP had some nice explosion sounds - shame the graphics looked like pixelated crap though /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Great game though.

I have also noticed, that the sound of enemy fire comes before the bullets hit you /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Shouldn't this be vice versa or did they use subsonic bullets in WWII /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
