I was approched by few members of this fine community and they suggested an idea about Saturday night Event. Something that could be done Sat night to keep crowd entertained http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

After a little brainstorming we came to conclusion that COOP based missions will be something that could be it. Here`s the idea... take RL encounters that took place in the eastern or western front and try to implement them. There are enough memoirs from either side of the conflict to create those every day missions that took place back in those days. I mean with details and everything. Not really small 10 min coops, something more global. Basically representation of actual event, meaning place, ammount of planes, alt and so on. With full description of it which i can post on Friday. I`m pretty sure that i will be capable of hosting 20+1 host with AI bombers, so it will not be something small.
I am still thinking if i should allow external views or not... but that`s debatable and really up to everyone http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

So, whadda u say? Yay or Nay? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

When my AMD64 arrives, count me in!

Until then, my gaming rig excludes me from coops.

Seeing as family obligations only allows me to host my DF server on Saturday nights I'm out on the co-ops but if anyone wants to DF instead of co-op then I'll be in my server on HL.

Thats not a bad idea . I realize we need externals if we want to fly AI bombers.

What about no padlock but then have that external few, i think its Shift F2 or something.

Count me in.
