Oh, I've also tried here: http://tailslide.firelight.dynip.com/hardware.asp
because they have it on their page, but nothing yet.

Thx guys

Hmmm...nothing yet? If not I would like to know if there are any plans/blueprints etc,... so that I can build a mounting platform for a HOTAS that a chair could fit in....or anything like that.

I've looked tirelessly for hours over the last 2 days and either there's very little out there or i can't find it.

Its a worthy pursuit. As flight sims continue to evolve, even as we continue to age, its hard to imagine the immersion factor becoming less enjoyable.

I did a brief search on Google and it seemed all references dated to 1999. If one could be found, I bet, I just bet, it will be better for rightys.

I should watch out in that thing if I were you...see what this guy said about it:
"I can't explain in words the submersion I experienced when surrounded by the ThunderSeat setup".

'Submersion'? You might drown!

Ladies & gentlemen, this is the captain speaking. Thankyou for choosing to fly Mandarin Airlines. Those passengers sitting on the left-hand side of the aeroplane please make yourselves comfortable. Those sitting on the right... please look to your left!

Well, I've got a little more infor ont his contraption. If you click the link at the bottom of the Thunderseat link labeled "EiTShop" a search window will open. Then type in thunderseat and a link comes up. Click the link and at the bottom is an option to add it to your cart.

The last question I have is the price (I should know for sure very soon). It seems to be listed in Indian Rupees (Rs.12,000). Using a conversion tool, the cost comes to approx. $256.00 (sorry, I don't remember exactly).

Hope this helps. I'm thinking very seriously about it myself (of course, with the side panels and keyboard mount /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

Good site....I'm not sure if you get the sound vibration though. Thats what the BC does for you. That would be real immersion I bet.

Well, this isn't just speculation. I'm going to do something.

I'll keep all posted. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I have sat in a Battle Chair, its pretty cool when you rev up the engine and you can actually feel it or fire the weapons and feel the rattle. Pretty fun. I'm a nut I guess - lol.........Good luck...

sitting in such a thing must be really cool. but you can also take an wooden chair, place it on some wooden plate and then put a subwoofer under your seat onto the plate and turn it up. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
personally i think these platforms to one's right and left are stupid. joystick has to be at least centered, best between legs (right to your natural one /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif ), otherwise you lose immersion again.
