I should know the answer to this, but I don't. I had an old pilot at my home, who'd flown P-47's in WW2.He had fun with the stick, a MSFF2, but said that the controls, esp elevator, was far too light, he said " we didn't have power steering then". Question: Is there any way to increase the overall resistence in this stick? I, too, having flown a Cessna 182, that the MS stick is too "light" and overly responsive.

Well i'm not sure about your MSFF2, but on my Dogitech I can change the "centering spring tension" under the stick's "Properties" tab in "Game Controllers". I would be very surprised if you couldn't customise spring tension on your stick.

well on the old drivers you used to be able to select what force you wanted... i.e. Hard, Medium, Soft and also the force feedback level. But as the y dont make the sticks anymorre I seem to remember it not working for me with XP or something like that. So you can do it - I set my to hard and on games like MSFS2004 Its v hard I can hardly move my stick - Wish I still had them drivers though
