I heard that the new AEP/PF conglomerate will feature a PF based GUI. What do you fellas think? I was hoping for something much better classified than what we have now with the ability to select aircraft by Nationality, Type, Year, and company, similiar to FS2004. I was also hoping for something more modern not so vintage. Given its WW2 but the whole clunky loud button thing is kind of gawky and annoying.

I agree. A better interface is needed. Sorting aircraft in categories would indeed be a welcome feature.
