Just curious really but are there any major security risks involved with running an sqldata base that perhaps new users and myself should be aware of ?

Good question! There are security risks whenever you turn on your pc and connect it to the internet.. period :-) A good firewall which blocks unused ports should be sufficient, and I would hope that anyone running an app or web server (or both) would have a firewall in place. If you need some details, visit the gg forums and PM me, and I will assist with some suggestions.

Thanks,
Sammie

Thanks Sammie I am hitting the books on this one but like you said its not as tough as it at first seems, well the setup and securing anyway, as to what the hell it does to produce all the info and stats? Well it just proves how much work you guys have put into all this and only increases my respect.

S!
