Italian and German torpedo bombers would be nice, too. If japanese escenarios are modeled, Zero, Sirens and so on would be great!

And some vigia planes, from all nations. Just to make you know you've been spotted!

The biplane you say is a Swordfish, and is modeled in SH2

I'd be really weird if Catalinas weren't included. Some barrage ballons would be really cool!

Mich600 Hi! \\'elcome to the SHIII forum!
(no question is a stupid question)

If there is Bismark then there's gotta be Fairy Swordfish to sink it!

Corsairs were more a pacific theater fighter aircraft possible to not see them near the atlantic. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Corsairs were in the British navy during WW2 as well, So we would see them in the Atlantic...but I dont know if they used them from escort carriers though(hard to bring abort ship)......and if so......it was probalby late in the u-boat war when they arived....i'm going to look it up though!

Avengers for sure. I would think it would be included.

Unfortunately, Italy had very few torpedo bombers.
Our main choice was for high altitude bombers, who made very little, if any, damage at sea.

I saw a video of one of them on the History channel not so long ago. The Fa-330 Rotary Wing Kite, was a good idea using the autogyro principle.

I think Germany made about 200 of these, so they must of been used in many cases.

They had some success in the Indian Ocean where theer was less allied ASW activity.

The problem was that it took time to pull the thing down which meant that subs towing it would either need more time for a crashdive or leave the pilot on the surface.

Piloting one of these wouldn't be much fun in the North Atlantic.
