This card is going for $104 after a rebate at best buy all week long. I am an ATI man myself (9500Pro128)...but for this price and someone looking for a decent card you cant beat it with a stick.

Thx Bearcat, do you think it'd be much improvement over my Ti 4800 Se 128? I've not heard many good things about NVIDIA's new line of cards! Do you think the price reflects this? Not a flam! My next card will have to last a long time!

That's a good buy /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'd go for it if I was lacking funds /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I believe that it's a tad faster than a standard 4600 (which is a 4800 only dif seems to be 8xagp) in most older and contemporary games but it runs new dx9 games much better (my impression from a few reviews).

I am running FB on a 1333 Tbird,512mb ddr and a geoforce3 original. I will be upgrading sometime next year. I have held off because my system runs FB very well.Do you think my system hasn enough Cpu horsepower to see a meaningful improvement with the 5600 ultra? At that price its very tempting.

would allow aa and af but you won't get the most out of it until you upgrade your system.
