Just bumping this to get it above all the patch-related Asshattery that is going on...http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif reason I am so curious is my previous enquiries about joining the travel-agency... Ivan knows what I am on about http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

ASM1, you are an amusing chap aren't you? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - G√ľnther Rall

not at all.

Looking at provision for students with disabilities in Higher education in Scotland - the use of assistive technology etc. Basically the word "reasonable" keeps cropping up when talking about such provision in the legislation - I'm *trying* to develop a so called "reasonableness test"

Am strictly looking at UK/Scottish side of things - but will draw from other countries legislation and also see if there has been any cases whereby provision has been found to be "not reasonable" - so if we have any US law experts here (or any european law experts for that matter as I am looking there too) then please feel free to sing out! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - I plan to "extrapolate commonalities" as my supervisor puts it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif to construct the test.... and I need to get a move on LOL!

Hope I haven't bored you....

sounds heavy going

i was at glasgow uni two years ago, my dissertation was a comparison between El Alamein and Stalingrad in the British Press.

Hard labourious work, but worth in the end. (i think) read a lot of hilarious 1940's newspapers. think actual SPAM! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

good luck mate

It is heavy going, but will get there

Am at Stirling uni myself, as I was for my undergrad degree. Although am working from home and making Occasional trips in to uni to see supervisor, visit library etc.

El Alamein vs Stalingrad - sounds interesting.

Thanks http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Will get there eventually... I HOPE!

Keep at it with the dissertation ASM1, I did mine last year, they can really seem to drag on when you're doing them, but it'll all be worth it in the end (said from behind my McDonalds counter, http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)
Good luck with it.

Was dealing with Special Educational Needs and Disability Act (SENDA 2001)

and the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 parts 3 and 4 - Goods and Services, and Education.

Also- Americans with disabilities act 1990 and looking at the European Comission's Human Rights act 1998.
