So I just discovered the Input settings under Control and have improved by accuracy by about 300%.

All I did was lower the sliders for pitch and roll to:
1,4,8,24,50,50,50,50 and so on

I didn't change Deadzone or Flitering. Should I?

And is this different than editing the conf.ini file?

I have Thrustmaster FoxPro2 Shock.

If you dont have the far right slider at 100 then you won't be able to move the control surface as far as it can go. This means you won't be able to turn as hard as a normally calibrated plane.

Each slider corresponds to a zone of joystick travel from the center. The far left is the first 10% (near center), the far right is the last 10% (near edge). The slider number says what % of travel will actually occur in the game compared to how far you have moved the stick.

To get clear understanding you should make an excell sheet to calculate controll surface deflection.

Make a column:
0,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100
(corresponds stick deflection)
Anoher column for your values
1,4,8,24,50,50,50,50,...

Then multiply these values to next column.
Make a chart (line). The line shows how controll surface movement corresponds your stick movement.

Last number should be 100 to get full movement.
Otherwise curve should be smooth.

After some trials you get understanding what's happening and can optimise your personal values to your taste.

You can edit conf.ini file directly.
