Are there any hidden "secret" messages in FB or items, pics etc??
How about pics of the developers as ground crew, AI pilots, their names on aircraft etc.???

Just wondering...

It's possible I suppose. I've never seen anything,though...

Might check your AI wingmen in campaigns - although they might be random faces.

Someone had posted about a 'face' appearing on the cockpit windscreen in a La5 or a La7. Looked more like a skull to me though. That's all I've heard.

There's an interesting Swedish or Finnish word in one of the cockpits, but nothing really funny that I've seen.

I reckon some of the pilot`s faces are of programmers, friends etcoh, and one woman. Olegg`s not there though. Anyone know who the faces for pilots REALLY belong to?

Oh yes, I went through all the faces with Oleg once for a laugh. Apart from the usual suspects (Oleg's staff) there's the accountant from 1C, Matt Wagner, E-Y from Ubi Q+A, Luthier, AdiGalland (with the silly hair), one of Luthier's mates, Starshoy, Jippo, Ossi, me, members of LLv34, some V0101 (I think) etc.

Half the guys are names you'd recognise from HL.

If I remember right it's a word that the language filter wouldn't let through in English. I just remember reading about it in a thread and some Swedes (or maybe Finnish but I think Swedish speakers) were saying, "Oh, the first line in that is a bad word."

Not secret, so much, but interesting... have you seen the little castle on the crimean coast, just east of Yalta, halfway between Yalta and Altoushta??

It's actually a real place...I forget the name

Seen it, there are three or four of them in that map. In the mission builder forum there is a thread telling where to find them all.

I saw where somebody posted a pic where hitlers face was along the cockpit bars in a german plane.

Interestingly, some modelers came in and tried to change the subject right away, or say silly things like "it looks like Tony Blair" (which it obviously didn't) just to diffuse the situation and try to cover it up.

Isn't there a map that has many of the modellers and developers names on it as towns, landmarks, etc.?
I think its one of the numbered maps.

I was the one who discovered the word in the cockpit. It is the P-40 cockpit, you must move the control stick to the side, its the down near the floor of the plane on the panel. It's easy to spot, since most of the other panels are in English, while this one panel seems to be non-sense. Except for that first word... I was told what it supposedly means, but I'm no expert in the language, so I won't say.

LOL, I checked the P-40 pit out and behind the stick was a WARNING-tag that started with the word "Bajskorv", this is swedish and means poop, then it seems to be only rubbish and words like "asf" and "sfa" and I couldn't make out any real word
