I build COOPs for CrazyIvan. If you would like some of them you can get them at http://www14.brinkster.com/triggerhappy770/default.htm

I/JG1 Oesau is recruiting axis pilots who prefer to fly maximum realism. We accept both veterans and rookies. We fly in VEF2, VOW and may join other online wars in the future. Go to our forums at http://www.jg1-oesau.org/ for more details and to apply.

Personally? I think it's the Gloster Gladiator, but the Fiat Cr 32 is nice. I've only seen different pics than that though, and they were a model for FB! Yes, if the project is not dead, the Cr. 32 will be coming to FB soon!

No way! Flyable? That would be great for Spanish civil war servers or campaigns....

the best Bip in FB ?

theres only three & the DM is different for them all

this is IMPORTANT as they all spit out marshmellows for bullets (especially the CR)

i feel safest in the Gladiator as you can just turn & turn & turn & turn & turn & turn & turn & turn & . . . . . . . .

but for me i think the I-153 is the best of them all

maybe not in RL

or then again maybe it was ..... whose to say now ?

but in FB , as it is now pre-patch , it has the goods

I-153P. First off, it looks the coolest IMO, largely because the retractible landing gear clean up the lines. It's also very fast (see previous comment), and its firepower is awesome for a biplane (those cannons).

I've just never understood what the fuss is about the Gladiator. I don't think it's nearly as attractive, and I don't think it's nearly as effective.

I can turn & turn & turn & turn in an I-185 too...

On a side-note, I think they should make the TB-3 a biplane. That effing plane can't get any slower than it is, and it could use the extra lift to get 4000+kg of explosives aloft.

The glad will out turn a 153 online with humans running the stick
I think you dont lose E as fast in the Gladiator.
But the 153 dominates with the cannons. If you fly closed cockpit, and you should, the P.11 looks like a Biplane! But either the above will outturn that thing!
Great fun

Whos got a bi-plane only server?

Being involved in the J8A project, having a personal "attachment" to it makes my judgement a bit subjective, but....

I have always loved the Chaika, and after flying both of them I would say that both of them have up- and downsides. I would say that they are quite equal, it all depends on how you make use of their characteristics as a pilot.
Having a few rockets under the wings does help sometimes though.http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I haven't flown the CR 42 that much yet...

The J8A is the best looking and is my favorite of the bipes but as I said earlier, the I-153P is the best combat wise. The I-153P is much faster, much better armed and in FB, is much harder to damage.

This why we need an inter-war sim, to have all these cool 1920s and 1930s planes.

I read that the CR.32 was more maneuverable than any fighter (Republican or Nationalist).

Also, with the 12.7mm guns vs the 7.7mm the Republicans were using on their fighters, gave the CR.32 even more of an edge.

Never heard of the CR.32 being an energy fighter...
