all is in the title please give me best speed to climb with it and trim settings you use i cannot manage to climb well with it whereas in reality he climb as well as Fwd9(17.5m/s) and better than Bf109 G6(17m/s)

I use 250 kph +/- and combat flaps up to 1000-1200m. Then I raise my flaps, regain some airspeed and head up again. I won't trim out the slight nose-up tendency until I get to over 3000m. This is when I trim out and start to hunt on my way up to 4-5k.

dont listen to that man http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/351.gif

combat flaps create drag and will hinder your climb. also the ta152 seems to climb best at 85-88%prop pitch, 110%throttle, boost, and rad closed, at approximately 290kph+. Good luck.

The Ta152 can sustain 22m/s climb rate.

MW50 engaged
110% throttle
80% manual prop pitch
Radiator fully open
280kph TAS (Superman view)
240-280 IAS (Speedbar, depending on altitude)

On take off, I accelerate to 300kph then pull up into a climb until the vertical rate indicator is at 22m/s. I try to hold the climb rate regardless of what airspeed is doing, because of that climb stays pretty even but airspeed fluctuates to some degree.

Zen is right...except I'll get upto 400kph level before i begin my climb, with 100% prop pitch I can sustain a 330kph climb (not sure where vertical indicator is set at) upto 3k before overheat, then will drop prop pitch to 90% for cool down (watch the rengage of the mw50). I'll leave rads open for the whole sortie (unless I'm being chased by a p-38) and turn off MW-50 only for cool downs also. Be sure to really drop prop pitch sometimes all the way to down to 60% in power dives for max speed. Have caught alot of p-38's this way. I really dont think this plane is undermodeled. I've caught and outurned mustangs and p-38's. It can hang with spits and LA-7's in a turnfight just be sure to use your flaps wisely and dont be afraid to use landing flaps in combat under 170kph otherwise you'll be spun. Flaps are the key to avioding spins. The 20mm wing cannons are a little weak but that should be fixed in next patch. I dig this crate.

Did anyone see that or was it just me?

yeah the ta152 is a great plane and the only problem i ve found was the climb rate because i ve not the practise but now with the help of zen i manage good climb with Ta thanks again to all of you for helping me

Why would you turn off MW50. Methanol-water injection is intended to help keep an engine cool. If you start to overheat, merely open rads two step and back the throttle down to 103%. The MW50 will keep her cool all the way to 5K or better.

With auto prop and rad full open I get 22m/s up to about 2500m with 110% power and MW50. Once above 3000m when the Supercharger kicks in I return to about 20m/s and continue at that rate up to 5000m or so when it starts to drop off again. I get best results when climbing at 250-270km/h.
