I seem to have a bit of trouble hitting with this gun. Do I have to aim a bit above the target because of the heavy round? Is there a good convergence for this gun? My convergence is 200m. I will occasionally hit with the gun but usually only at point blank and I would like to hit at 200m or even 100m. Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah you definately have to aim above your target...and remember that the MK108 is by nature a point blank kind of weapon so if you think you are close enough get closer. Then open fire.

150m. There you just aim on the target. But if there is any angle off at all, you must account for it with proper lead (just barely a lil then just barely a lil lead).

Shouldn't the cannon be zeroed in at whatever you specify as the convergence distance? Because that's what the ground crew would be doing when adjusting the guns. So a cannon zeroed at 200m would be high at 150 and fall off after 200.

What you say is true.

The only situation in this sim where it helps to zero the MK 108 at long range helps is if you're hunting bombers. To score hits at long range, however, you need to be absolutely certain of your range because bullet drop is extreme.
