After reading a few ranting posts, I thought I'd chime in with my opinion. Was going to do it in an existing post, but I figured I'd start my own. Not that anyone really cares...but...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'll fly anything they give me. Anything. Cr@p planes, the so called "uber noob" planes (which is BS altogether), bombers, fighters, heck, I'll fly weather balloons if they model them.

One plane, however, that I'm extremely interested in flying is the Hs-129 with the huge cannon. I flew her online the other day (which is hard without crosshairs) and it was a blast. Always like her. Now, I don't know if there's plans to make her flyable, and if there isn't, then oh well. I won't complain. I've got PLENTY to keep me occupied.

I know a lot of people are really upset because this plane or that plane isn't flyable. Well, heck, I'd LIKE to fly them all, but I figure anything additional at this point is merely more icing on an already darn good (insert favorite flavor) cake.

Plus, with PF coming, I'll get to fly even more planes which I've never experienced. And get this...to top it all off, I know these planes will be beautifully modeled, and have realistic (notice I didn't say REAL...it's a bloody sim not reality) flight and damage models. How do I know this? Well, we all know it because these guys make the best sims, period. Plus, I was under the impression that the support for FB was in no way complete. So, likely the mighty B-25 will be flyable, the Ju-88s, Pe-2 (which'll be fun), and maybe even that little Hs-129 someday. Either way folks, I love my sim life right now.

Thanks UBI 1:C!

I fully agree - 1C:Maddox et al are the best thing ever happening to flight simulation http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif - and I flew a LOT of flight sims. Been addicted to 'em since this one:

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
