View Full Version : NAT type "disconnected" since patch

I played this morning (before a ~130mb download) with no issue. I have had zero NAT issues since beta (windows 10, fully updated, beefy i7 PC, GTX 1060).

I log on after work, get the 130 mb download, get in game and my NAT type is now "unplugged" (its a picture of a white two-ended plug pulled apart, no words). I have another computer on the network with for honor installed and everything is fine on that machine (green NAT, joins games, etc).


I have restarted, plugged my usb wi-fi card into another usb slot, and verified the game files; nothing works.

I can get in game, access the store, see the realm war updates, the new orders etc. I cannot, however, join any games; I can join a group with my other local machine but I can't join a 2v2 multiplayer game against AI with it. I also cannot join any 1v1 duels solo, either.

I'm not sure where the issue is, but since nothing changed on my end since this morning except the 130mb update I'm guessing that's somehow the culprit.

Sure. No apology necessary; large scale, multi platform software development is non-trivial and issues are expected. I'll submit a support ticket after I wrap some things up and forward it onto you. Thanks for replying so quickly.

After many reboots NAT is still unknown. Was green from day one.

Same issue here on PS4. I have the same NAT type symbol you have and matchmaking doesn't work for me either. I'm seeing a lot of topics pop up now about this problem so this is a really common issue at the moment for all platforms.

Same issues, some restarts it's fine for a bit, then get stuck in MM limbo and have to alt f4 out of the game.

Same issue.. I doubt ticket is necessary at this point, it is clearly widespread and not isolated.

Everything was fine before that 100mb patch, not unknown NAT.

Send in a ticket and then PM me your ticket # as I'm trying to round up affected users and forward them over to the team so we can look into it.

Yesterday I couldn't launch the game, today I cannot connect. WTF? Dammm Ubisoft, bring it back to alpha stages already.

Might just be a coincidence but... I disabled UPnP on my router, rebooted my PC, and now I have a yellow NAT (at least I can play vs bots, didn't try PvP).

Well you lucky. On my side for some reason when i join a game ( tried a solo vs ai ) my fps drop to 1 freeze my pc and i have to hard reset.RX 470 4gb.

Update - we pushed a seamless maintenance that should have fixed the remaining NAT problems. Please restart to recover your NAT - imsosorry, justonemore- and let us know if that fixed the problem!

Ubinoty nope it didnt fix my Nat problems still the same unknown Nat on PS4

Hey guys, after the minor patch yesterday i had the same problems with NAT Unknown and noticed in Windows Firewall Settings it activated the firewall somehow and after i turned it off and started the game NAT was Open again ... maybe this is the same issue u guys have.

Still unknown nat type on PS4.
Tried turning off firewall, restarting the console... nothing works.

Edit: I can play on a different internet connection but still can't find a nat on the usual network.
