I was flying a Finnish escort mission in my B-239 escorting Ju-52 transports to a new airfield. On the way there we encountered no enemy a\c or AA batteries. When the AI a\c (including my wingmen) landed at the new strip and came to a complete stop, they promptly blew up for no apparent reason and were listed as KIA.
Has anyone else encountered this? Should I maybe land early and exit the mission to prevent this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

sounds like a royal pain.

did they crash into each other?
i remember once (FB 1.0 pre-beta) four or five of my virtual squad managed to off themselves while parking.

(Taxing? Taxiing? Taxi-ing? Moving themselves off the runway so others could land.)

not nice.
either way it's a bug.
(would YOU fly your plane into the same pile of rubble that just blew up a bunch of your buddies?)

that said, i don't know if it is the same problem that you are experiencing. dunno if that helps. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

No they didn't crash into eachother or anything else. They just spontaneously combusted, very strange.
