The pics will be in your Main Il2 folder. Look for a file called grab0000.tga. Make sure to move the pics to another folder once you stop playing as the next time you take a pic, it will overwrite what is there.

Oh, and you'll need a program to view .tga files. Windows Picture Viewer does not read it.

This is a good one: http://www.irfanview.com/. And, it converts to .jpg if you want to post a pic.

If you download and run IL2 Manager 4.0 (http://www.checksix-fr.com/bibliotheque/search.php?R_Categorie=1&R_Type=1&S_Categorie=IL-2%20FB&Type=Utilitaire), it will save time and complication. It will convert your .tga files to .jpg automatically, and you don't have to move the files out right away. During the initial setup you'll see these options, or you can set it up after the program is running. (The following is from a previous post of mine.)

Open Manager, and click on lower left brown button, "Configuration." Make sure the "Convert TGA screenshots...." toggle is selected near the top, "Quality" is at "100%" and the box "Delete TGA files converted" is checked. You don't need the old .tga files, so it's ok to delete them.

When Manager converts the pics the name and file extension will change. It will change from "grab0001" to something like "IL2M_W030627_203239_C03062720323899" Normally when you take captures, the "grab0001" will be overwritten the next time you load the game and take a capture. So manager not only converts the files, but gives each a unique filename so that it won't overwrite the files during the conversion process. You can rename them to anything you want at this point. I normally just move them to another folder. Hope this helps, good luck and

Edit: Btw, I use Irfanview for various things too. Nice program, and it's free. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Edit2: Run the manager during or after a game, online or off to convert automatically, otherwise the game will overwrite the .tga files.

Good hunting,
