Hi guys, I was practising the other night getting out of flat stall spins in my favourite plane 'The Jug'. Anyway, I put a small 5mb video together showing how I do it, which, although I can't promise will work for every plane, I have done in the Bf-109, Hurricane and P-47. It's a technique which I have found works every time, so I thought I'd share it with you.

Check out the 47-Heaven download page, it's at the bottom with a picture link to the file.
Hope it's of use to some of you who haven't mastered this yet, Cheers, Neil.

Downloading now... Meanwhile I'll ask: does it work in Ta-152 too? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Flat spins in this plane are really nasty.

oh well, there is a technique that works with all undamaged planes..

-throttle to zero
-stick pushed up INSIDE the spin
-rudder to counter the spin
-increment slowly throttle to 80%

with this you go out of any spin, time depend on the spin and the plane you are flyin

try that on a P-39Q or a P-51. My old routine of:

1) Decreasing throttle to 10% if not 0%

2) Deploy flaps

3) Counter spin with the rudder in opposite direction

4) Slightly have a down pitch (forward on the joystick)

5) Bring down landing gear

Seems hard to do with these two planes I can recall at the top of my head. it seems to be harder to have a flat spin with the LW panes that i fly like the BF-109 and the FW-190D9's

But its nice to see that AVI anyhow http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
