I have two Airedale Terriers. Being English dogs with a nasty bite and a tight turning radius (for dogs), I'm guessing they might choose Spitfires.

Okay, the Sturmo and the Spitfire are neck and neck! Let's have some more votes! I think I saw an Airedale yesterday. Do they have a wiry coat and long muzzles? I also saw a Siberian husky. Man, they're big dogs.

My last dog was half black Lab, half English Setter. Gorgeous animal.

Being a gorgeous hybrid, and being smart as a whip, she would have flown a gorgeous hybrid, the P-51.

Her name was Tanqueray. RIP, Tanga http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Three dogs - one Corgi, one Greyhound/Pitbull, and one Boxer.

The Greyhound would take a Bf-109 because she likes to go fast, grab the Corgi's butt, and drag him across the yard. The Corgi would take a Spitfire because he's more agile than the other two. And the Boxer would take a IL-2 because she's too stupid to know what to do, so she'd want something that could take a beating.

I got no dogs, but got a cat, can I count him? Besides, he just loves to fly!

My dog is a man's dog, and he picks his fights when he wants 'em, and if he doesn't want a fight, nobody picks on him. THis is why my dog would fly a B-17. Nobody picks a fight with the B-17 unless they're lookin' for some hurtin' in the mornin'

If I had a dog, it would fly the P-47.

A greyhound/pitbull cross. Speed and firepower in one compact package. Ouch.

Overweight Golden Retreiver here. Probably a her ride would be a P-47. Big dogs fly big planes.

The propellor is just a big fan to keep the pilot cool.. when it stops you can see
the pilot start sweating!

A good landing is one you can walk away from...A great landing is one where they can use the plane again afterwards!!!

My cat would probably either fly a He-162
to get in, puch and get out, just like cats do.
Or maybe he'd take the Tb-3 to get as much food
with him as possible.

On the experience i had when dogfighting with a big importance is that is not quite necessary to have the Best turner really.
But the most important is to have a plane you know well and with a good set of guns. and get him fast whoooooooshhhhhh rataratatatata! BooOOOMMMMM!... gone!

When fighting for your life ( like on the FRANCE vs USA fight ) it really reset your preferences.
I'v seen one of the best teamwork in action our own DOgfighters in here.

My Standard Poodle-Chocolate Lab mix would probably go for the Mustang-the razorback version with the Malcolm hood,I think. Chewie (short for Chewbacca, for obvious reasons)loves to roll back the hood and hang his head out the window, and he loves to go fast, so the 109 is out, along with the standard canopy of the P-51B, and the Sturmovik. He is a bit large for a Spitfire's cockpit, so there you are.

I think he'd also like the firepower of the .50s, but he's not too articulate.

cheers

Since I don't have A dog but I do have 4 cats they could fly a multi-position aircraft.

Or they could make me proud my flying a quartet of P-63s (or P-39s).

What plane would your dog fly?

Man, I love this question. Hmmm, I voted other.
I have two pitbulls, well, a Staff and a pit.
So...I should have voted IL2, but...hmmm.
Tough as nails, skin so loose if you get bit on the back of the neck you can still turn 180 and bite back...
I Think I have to go with the IL2 Field Mod.

I need to make a dawg skin now!

I own a staff bull terrier pup so the aircraft would have to be something small, with a nasty bite, a big noisy mouth and able to chase it's own tail.
I think the I-153P. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

i own two bloodthirsty http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif jack russell terriers... i can imagine them flying zekes /a6m reisen/...
nimble, agile, manuverable... very difficult to get of your tail (or leg http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) in a furball.
and they have quite a bite... ouch!

you can see them here if you wish:

Well, since my white Samoyed's breed originated in Siberia, he'd have to fly a VVS bird. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Being so furry and barrel shaped, a LA-5FN in winter camouflage should do well for him. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

must be a poor kamikaze pilot if it comes home.

My cat would be a spitfire, aside from me wanting her to be one, shes got manoverabilty, shes sleek and fast, and she packs a bite, tho not as sturdy as lumbering giant next door which ild have to say is a p47 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Actually, my second dog (****zhu) would probably fly a Brewster 'cos he kinda looks like one (short and stubby).

Edit: Arrgh, the Ubisoft profanity editor strikes again! My second dog is a sh!tzhu, also known as a lion-faced or chrysanthanum dog.

Since no one with a clear mind would fly it, and since I don't have a dog I'm gonna go with the P-51.

No Dogs, but

One very overweight Abyssinian Cat. He'll have to fly the B17, only thing that'll take the weight!
3 siamese - very sneeky - they'll take the uber-Frank and vomit on those who try to take it away from them.
1 black mog - P38

Jezza the Australian Cattle Dog is true to his breed:

Sturdy, compact, agilile, strong with good endurance, ever alert and highly intelligent.

Got to be a FW190 flown by a bomber pilot.

Only thing is, it would need an "auto-airborne" feature - Jezza sees anything move and he takes off all by himself.

My black cat votes for anything that would make a good night fighter.

I would say my dog would fly a Spitfire. He's an English Springer Spaniel, so what better for an english pedigree dog to fly than an english pedigree fighter. He's a bit too big and slow though, so maybe the Bf110 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

My German Sheepdog (Deutscher Sch√¬§ferhund) would
take a Focke-Wulf.
Well he`s dark-brown and looks like a Wolf,
he`s got long teeth and he`s hardly controlable.

stop him someimes)
