wouldnt have known, except for the fact that I clicked to open it and the window showing the upgrade page appeared http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Installs cleanly over 0.92 and doesn't lose Favs, themes or extensions.

Also there are a few new versions of extensions out - Googlebar, configuration mania to name but a few so check their homepages......

cheers

Spell checker is nice too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Used to use Mozilla but it was way too buggy for me, this Firefox however is fast and reliable.

Just need to find a WWII prop plane than can match it (on topic now http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif) as my trusty Spit keeps overheating now!

It's the browser that IE wants to be when it grows up.

What's wrong with ie? I don't have 56gay so I guess it doesn't matter for me.

----------------------------

This interview was on Nat'l Public Radio (npr) in mid January.
A female was interviewing Marine Corps General Reinwald
about a Boy Scout visit to his base.
She was told the Boy Scouts were to be taught about guns.
She asked, "But you are equiping them to be violent killers." The General replied,
"Well you're equiped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?"
The radio went silent and the interview ended. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

Features. Security. Customizability (does a word like that exists?)
3 areas that firefox outperforms IE. Give it a shot and you wont be dissapointed. If you dont like it, you can always go back to IE.
(tabbed browsing + adblock, I love it)

That's what I thought until I got a nasty Active X trojan through a popup window. Had to reinstall the OS to get rid of it. Not gonna happen with Firefox because they have neither popups nor ActiveX.

I used to like IE, but Firefox really does outshine it. Considering 95% of all web users use IE, who do you think the malware-makers are going to target? I just read that the amount of spyware doubled last quarter. It's just a matter of time.

Yes,that's an IAR.Since Romanian Navy didn't painted their planes in WW2,I painted myself one.In fact , Navy never had control over any airplane and is so even nowaday.Although there are two AF bases on Black Sea coast.Only one used by RoAF.The other one is a NATO one. I gues for Vipers but I'm not sure yet.

In fact I know that in another way.

One day in their vacation, the husband, after fishing all that morning decided to take a nap.He left all its tools into the boat and he went straight to the bed.Wife, seing that the day is pretty much screwed up , decided to take the boat for a ride planning to stop in the middle of the lake and read some book she had.
So,she jumped the boat , stop in the middle of the lake and she start reading. The noise of another boat which stopped next to her made her to raise her eyes from the book.
A guard there stopped and told her:
Guard: Ma'm , what are you doing here?
Woman: I think is pretty obvious that I'm reading a book. And you disturb me.
Guard:Ma'm ,as as far as I'm concerned you have all the tools to catch fishes. And it is illegal in this part of the lake. Please hand me the tools and come with me in the office for the declaration.
Woman:It that case , I'm afraid I have to sue you for sexual assault.
Guard:Huh?Why's that,ma'm?
Woman:Well,as far as I'm concerned you have the tools to sexually agress me,aren't you?
Guard left.

On-topic again: I love Firefox. Try surfing the web for one week using IE and then see how much spyware you've got. Then do the same but with Firefox and be amazed. As a matter a fact I just scanned for spyware a few minutes ago. All I had was one misery tracking cookie.

Spybot always finds a DSO exploit that turns out to be MSN's helpful text highlighter and link to MSN stuff. Do I get this just because I've loaded IE?

I just got a "pirated" Final release of XP SP2 build 2180 from news groups. It has built in firewall and pop-up blocker for IE which both work great.
